Summary
Education has long been looked to as the solution to a wide range of social ills. It is a vast and important area, and one that has been studied at Canterbury for more than a century.
Many of the academic staff of the School of Educational Studies and Leadership have doctoral qualifications and come from a range of backgrounds including teaching, Psychology, Sociology, Philosophy, History, Counselling and Political Science.
