Clifford Algebra Research Group

Research Group Summary

This research group has interests in Clifford algebra.

Clifford algebra is a type of associative algebra that can be thought of as one of the possible generalisations of complex numbers and quaternions. Clifford algebra theory is connected to the theory of quadratic forms and orthogonal transformations. Clifford algebra has important applications in many fields, including geometry and theoretical physics.

Clifford algebra is named for William Kingdon Clifford (shown in picture, top right).
