Research Group Summary
The Bioprocess & Biomolecular Engineering Research Group carries out research in engineering science, fermentation, environmental biotechnology and development of technologies associated with the purification and modification of biomolecules.
The Group is a founding member of the Biomolecular Interactions Centre (BIC), founded 2007 and supported by Bio-Rad Laboratories, Inc, Hercules California. The BIC involves researchers from Chemical & Process Engineering, Biological Sciences, Chemistry, Lincoln University, The University of Otago's Christchurch School of Medicine and Crop&Food Research.
