Social Perception Group
Research Group Summary
In the broadest terms, research in the social perception laboratories is concerned with understanding, predicting and modifying the behavior of individuals in social interactions. In doing so, we investigate the behavior of individuals across the chain of specificity - from the detection of information to the concurrent response. That is, we study the nature of the information that perceivers attend to in interacting with others, how they process that information and their behavioral responses (based on that information) toward target individuals.
