This project looks at improved efficiencies in production from new engineering tools and processes. We apply productivity improvement methods, statistical quality analysis, business process mapping, and lean manufacturing to minimise waste in any production setting.
The project involves industry sponsoring and hosting a research assistant for a summer scholarship (2-3 months) or a master's thesis (12 months). Often industry can obtain government grants to cover these costs. Industry partners who are interested in this form of engagement are invited to contact the Researcher.
