Project Abstract
At the heart of questions for children, young people, families and victims about their experiences of an FGC (Care and Protection or Youth Justice) would be an exploration of how the process itself has impacted on them. Has the process been empowering and healing? Or has it been alienating, and if so why? This project aims to conduct a rigorous evaluation to examine the processes and outcomes for FGCs for both Care and Protection and Youth Justice and provide robust findings would involve kaupapa Māori approaches to evaluation.
