Project Abstract

It consists of qualitative interviews with human service workers in the aftermath of the Canterbury earthquakes of 2010 and 2011. The aims of the research are a) to contribute to a better understanding of pressures on human services in the aftermath of disasters, and b) to further the development of contextualised theoretical conceptualisations of workplace stress and organisational stress in the aftermath of disasters.
