Project Abstract

It is around the response to the earthquake in first year economics, particularly assessment methods, and how approaches such as online quizzes compare with more traditional approaches such as assignments and invigilated tests in terms of determining grades during an earthquake affected semester. in the absence of a final, how good are the different forms of assessment in determining grades, and keeping a similar rank ordering of students to an invigilated exam.
