Project Abstract

Project project focuses on development of teacher practice with the intention to increase student agency and whānau engagement in the modern learning environment (MLE) through teacher-led inquiry. The aims of the inquiry are to enabling and strengthening teacher capacity to facilitate and engage learning partners (whanau and community) and enhance student agency through improving pedagogy and practice. Teachers will increase their capacity to successfully work alongside whanau to create learning partnerships that support children’s learning, and enhance their knowledge and and skills in peer collaboration with each other to provide students with scaffolded support and feedforward assessment practices.
