Researcher Summary
My research passion has been exploring and pushing the boundaries on the way we teach and learn, with particular interest in the subject of Earth sciences. I help designs and create innovative teaching tools with the aim of making them easy to use, pleasant to look at and, most of all, fun! I'm very excited about the prospect that new technologies bring that allow of to virtually transport students to exciting location, immersing them in a situation that they might find themselves in during their professional careers.
I've also researched around how rock properties changes in space, especially in areas where rocks have been intensely deformed. I've used investigations at various scales, using satellites and drones to acquire imagery, as well as sampling soil and the gas therein to learn more about the properties of rocks.
