Researcher Summary

My overall research goal is to reduce inequalities and promote social and economic inclusion. Aligning with this goal, my main research focus is entrepreneurship practices in minority groups. Currently,  I focus more on refugees, immigrants, low income people and women and study their business start-up, development and economic involvement. In addition, I study social entrepreneurship and social innovations in communities and how these contribute to reduction in inequalities. I also study the intersection between microfinance and sustainability.
