Dr Martin-Neuninger is a research specialist at the Macmillan Brown Centre for Pacific Studies, University of Canterbury, New Zealand. Her research focuses on food policy, food security, food choice, food retail, sustainable food consumption, inequality, resilience, well-being and health. With a PhD from the University of Otago, she has been involved in multiple interdisciplinary research projects, including with the Food Safety Science Research Centre. Her research has also explored social interactions and social relationships in everyday life and she has provided recommendations for industry and policy makers. At the Macmillan Brown Centre for Pacific Studies Dr Martin-Neuninger is managing multiple projects, including one on Social Protection. She is also responsible for preparing funding applications and supervising research assistants and is the editorial manager for the Journal of Pacific Dynamics.
