From Nga Kuri a Wharei ( in Katikati ) to Tihirau (in East Cape), Mataatua is my waka and Toroa is the Chief. My name is Adrienne Paul.Tēnā koutou katoa, greetings to everyone, I am from the Bay of Plenty region in Aotearoa New Zealand lecturing at Te Whare Wananga o Waitaha - University of Canterbury. I am an academic lawyer, newly appointed at Te Kura Ture - School of Law in 2020. My research interest areas in the context of land law, Māori land law, disputes resolution and environmental law, include: • exploring the impacts of the law on Māori and Indigenous Peoples; • exploring potential solutions to Māori and Indigenous legal issues; and • implementation of legal tools/models to empower Māori and Indigenous Peoples.I love what I do and value professional relationships to empower people with knowledge, through support and sharing of information.Ngā manaakitanga
