Researcher Summary

Dr Michael Davis works across an inter-disciplinary space in the humanities and social sciences, encompassing history, sociology, social policy, anthropology and postcolonial and Indigenous studies. His experience and interests include Indigenous/European histories of encounter, Indigenous knowledges, environmental history, Indigenous rights issues and ethics, cultural heritage, and biography, as well as multi-species and human-animal encounters in history and Anthropocene thinking.
