Researcher Summary

My research focuses on sustainable systems. Our highly diverse and international group of about 10 postgraduates studies how infrastructure needs to evolve to become zero-carbon. In other words, how much, where, when and in what technology to invest.

Currently, I'm looking for (updated Dec. 2022):
- 1 PhD on planning energy transitions of islands
- 1 PhD on sustainable transportation planning
- 1 PhD student on distributed energy technologies and smart districts/buildings, only for outstanding candidates
- 1 PhD student on interactive visualization for energy systems, only for outstanding candidates
- Upcoming for 2023: smart energy/water systems, agrivoltaics.

Subject Area: Disciplines

  • Engineering and Technology: Energy and Fuels; Resource/Environment Engineering; Solar power
