Researcher Summary

Dr. Foster-Cohen has interests in first and second language development by both children and adults, monolingual and bilingual, typically developing and disordered. Her current focus is on developmental trajectories of children with complex developmental disabilities. She is the author of two textbooks on language acquisition and has published articles on both theoretical and applied aspects of language acquisition.
